"Please walk me" - Your dog

Why is it so important to walk your dog? Simply put, your dog loves it! Dogs enjoy sniffing and observing along the way. This provides mental stimulation. Changing the route occasionally adds even more canine joy. Generally, the longer you walk, the calmer they will be at home because of the physical exercise. How longer you walk will depend on your dog’s breed, age, and health. For most, a 30 minute walk in the morning and evening is adequate. If you have a fenced-in yard and don’t have the time or ability to walk them, spend time with them outside. You can even text and make phone calls while playing. Walking is a great opportunity to bond and work on obedience and training. It’s the perfect time to socialize your dog with other dogs and people. Finally, walking your dog gives you the benefit of quality exercise and the satisfaction of knowing that you love and care for your pet.
